Welcome to Function Finds! Here’s How to Post Your Listing

Registering Your Account and Purchase your Package:

• Simply register your account, log in, and purchase a package here.
  
  
  
• Adding Your Listing:
  • Click on “Add Listing” here (it’s on the top left).
  
  • • You can also manage your listings from your dashboard later on.
      
      What You Can Post:

1. • • Depending on your purchased package, you’ll be able to add a Venue Listing, Photography/Videography Listing, or a Vendor Listing.
   • • (We know photographers are vendors too, but we’ve given them a slightly different listing setup for more tailored results!)

Submitting Your Listing:

• • Basic Info:
    • • Logo: Upload a square image of your logo (Format must be .PNG or .JPEG).
    • • Title: Enter your business or trading name—how your clients know you (not your registered name).
    • • Category: Pick the right category for your listing.
    • Tags: Add up to 15 words or terms that describe your venue or service, like “affordable wedding venue” or “moody photography.” The more, the better!
    

• • Address & Location:
    • • Location: Start typing your town/city and select from the dropdown. You can choose up to 10 if you cover multiple areas.
    • • Geolocation: Use the blue dot on the right of the address bar to autofill your address, latitude, and longitude—super easy!
    • Fine-tune: Move the map marker to your exact spot and adjust your address if needed.
    

• • Contact & Pricing:
    • • Email/WhatsApp/Phone: Add your contact details.
    • • Website: Enter your URL, starting with “https://” (not “www”).
    • • Price Range: Be realistic—choose a range that reflects your services.
    • Vendors: Provide your pricing range, even if you prefer to keep exact prices private. This helps customers search within their budget. Please only input numbers (5000), not Currency Indicators (R) and Thousand separators or decimals (R5.000.00 – NOT LIKE THIS).
    

• • Images (Please make sure your images are either .PNG or .JPG format):
    • • Featured Image: This is your “profile picture” on the listing—choose wisely!
    • • Header Slider: Add 5 of your best images; these are the first thing visitors will see.
    • • Gallery: Upload up to 30 high-quality images. Don’t hesitate to show off!
    • Promo Video: Have a great video on YouTube or Vimeo? Add the link here and choose a cover image if you like. Should you have a great video but not a YouTube channel – we would be happy to post it on ours and send you the link to use for your listing. Just send us an email requesting this.
    

• • Details:
    • • Description: This is your space to shine! Write a compelling, detailed description of your services, packages, and pricing. If writing is not your thing, we offer professional copywriting for just R250—feel free to ask!
    • • Amenities (Venues): Select all the amenities your venue offers. If you don’t see something, let us know—we’ll add it for you!
    • • Important Info (Photographers/Videographers): Add key details for your service.
    • • Fun Facts (Vendors): Share 3 fun, numeric facts about your venue (e.g., “3 dining halls, 2 dance floors”).
    • • FAQ: Add answers to frequently asked questions to help customers.
    • • Working Hours: Let clients know when you’re open.
    • • PDF Upload: Have a brochure or menu? Upload it as a PDF for clients to download.

• • Social Media:
    • • Link your social media profiles for customers to follow.

Once you’re done, you can either save your listing as a draft or publish it right away. That’s it! We can’t wait to see what you’ve got to offer!
