1. Introduction

By accessing and using FunctionFinds (the “Platform”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all users, including those listing venues and vendors, as well as those searching for venues or vendors.

2. Services Provided

FunctionFinds is a listing platform that connects users with venues and vendors for event planning. We do not offer event planning services or function coordination but instead act as an intermediary between users and service providers. Our role is limited to providing a marketplace where vendors can list their services, and users can browse and contact these vendors.

3. Vendor and User Responsibilities

Vendors and venues are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and lawful listings on the platform. By using the platform, you warrant that all content you post complies with applicable laws and regulations.

Users agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and refrain from activities such as scraping, reproducing content without authorization, or engaging in fraudulent transactions.

4. Payments and Listings

Vendors must pay a monthly fee for listings. If payment is not received, the listing will be suspended until payment is completed. No refunds are provided for partial usage of the service or inactive listings during the month.

5. Prohibited Uses

Any activity that violates local laws, infringes on intellectual property rights, or misrepresents products or services is strictly prohibited. This includes uploading offensive, discriminatory, or fraudulent content.

6. Liability Limitation

FunctionFinds is not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or availability of the services offered by vendors or venues. Users agree that FunctionFinds cannot be held responsible for any disputes or issues that arise between vendors/venues and users.

7. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience, and FunctionFinds is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these sites.

8. Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for reasons such as violating these terms, fraudulent activities, or at our sole discretion without prior notice.

9. Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by South African law. Any disputes will be handled through local jurisdiction and dispute resolution methods.

10. Platform as a Listing Service

FunctionFinds operates solely as an online listing platform where vendors and venues can showcase their services, and users can browse and connect with these service providers. We do not take part in the transactions or agreements made between users and vendors. As such, we hold no responsibility or liability for the accuracy, legality, or validity of the listings posted.

11. Disclaimer of Liability

FunctionFinds does not verify or validate the legitimacy of the listings provided by vendors. We are not liable for any loss, damages, or disputes that arise from transactions or engagements between users and vendors. In the case of fraudulent listings or misrepresentation, FunctionFinds cannot be held responsible for any financial or reputational loss experienced by users or vendors.

Users are encouraged to report any fraudulent, inappropriate, or suspicious listings. Upon receiving such reports, we will review and, if necessary, remove the listing. However, the platform does not assume liability for any errors, omissions, or fraudulent activities conducted by third-party vendors on the site.
